Their work involves interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to determine necessary electrical requirements.
They also install and connect wires, outlets, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components to ensure they are safely and correctly wired. Electricians also troubleshoot problems with electrical systems to identify failures or other issues, and repair or replace faulty components when needed. In addition, electricians are responsible for ensuring compliance with codes and regulations related to electrical safety in order to ensure the safety of individuals and property. They must also be able to work with a variety of tools and equipment, and have a thorough understanding of electrical theory and principles.
