Hello, my name is Vince de Wmo. I work at Canyon State Electric as the marketing and communications manager. This means I am in charge of all the things we send out to people and the marketing materials we use.
I used to work at a marketing agency where I helped many different companies with their marketing. But I wanted to work on something that was mine and found that the construction industry was a great place for marketing and communication professionals like me.
In construction, there is a lot of opportunity for people who can create and share information about projects, both for clients and for people who want to work in construction. That’s why I was hired at Canyon State Electric. I help with recruiting new workers and also help with new projects that are happening in Phoenix.
One of the best things about working in construction is that it is very tangible. You can see buildings and structures everywhere, and they are all made by people’s hard work. In construction, there are many different trades like electricians, plumbers, and roofers. At Canyon State Electric, we make sure that the buildings have power so that all the other trades can do their jobs.
I think the most rewarding thing about construction is that you can see the results of your hard work. For example, you might see a hospital that you helped build, and know that it is saving lives. Or you might see a school that you helped build, and know that it is helping children learn.
If you are interested in getting into the construction industry, there are many opportunities. You might think that construction is just about wearing a hard hat and working outside, but there are many other jobs too. For example, at Canyon State Electric, some of our electricians go on to work on designing building models or putting together project estimates for clients.
To be successful in construction, you need to be hardworking and have a good understanding of the project you are working on. You should also be someone who likes to learn new things and has a passion for construction. If you have these traits and are willing to work hard, you can go far in the construction industry.
