Welcome to the Blue Collar Blueprint Podcast. We aim to expose, teach & educate YOU on blue collar career opportunities, how to get started and much more!

There is this doubt and worry, being part of the lineman trade you’ll always be on the road, at work and away from home. Is this true? What does it really take to be in the lineman trade…?

The first thing you should do (and you need to do) to become a lineman is invest in a Class A Commercial Drivers License with no auto restrictions. What does that really even mean? Learn here. 

Working in the lineman trade lots of cool opportunities can arise to be apart of historical events. Sometimes you can do this thing called a “high mob” where you assist in lifting power lines for high clearance loads!

Getting started in the lineman trade you can do what’s called “signing the books” which gives you the opportunity to sign the out of work books to be called out as a worker. Can you sign multiple books?
